What hairstyles and trends are you picking up on this summer? Do you wanna go lighter, darker, longer, shorter, or maybe even really short?
Well, this has definitely been a year of trying new bizarre ideas for hairstyles. For one example, the half bun where the bottom half of your hair is down and the other half is up in either a tight or messy bun. I, myself, would never try that look but it is considered a new trend for summer.
Another would be the casual braid look. You can sport a mean fishtail or even a milk braid and then loosen it up in random spots and pull tiny strings out here and there to give it that messy casual look. A fishtail is perfect for summer because it is tight enough to almost last you a whole day, but loose enough to give you some edge.
Ponytails are always nice because you can do so much with them. The hot trend for this summer is to have a nice swept low pony for going out on evenings to avoid the hassle of up-dos but to also give that elegant glow to your outfit. Another would be the no part, swept back high ponytail or up-do. It shows off your face more and gives that fresh face look a chance.
One of my favorite looks is the medium-length slightly wavy, loosely curled, and lightly balayage hair. This style gives you the perfect beachy look without even trying. All you have to do is scrunch your end a bit when you get out of the shower, let it air dry, and then add some loose natural looking curls, and you are good to go. The balayage will give it that sun-kissed look and salty sea texture.
