CIDESCO is a program at Cinta Aveda that starts off as an esthetician program, but adds 900 more hours that goes in-depth on international facial techniques as well as massage, body treatments, and manicure. Coming out of esthetics and diving into CIDESCO was best for me because it really provides much deeper knowledge.
It is a great program that ensures the highest knowledge in this field and opens a lot of opportunities to travel and be international. With a CIDESCO diploma, you are the top tier in the world of esthetics and many doors are open to you, whether it be working on a cruise ship or in a medical spa, you have the world (literally) at your fingertips.
I am so glad I choose this program because although I had learned a lot in the esthetician program, I feel a lot more educated and confident in my work and treatments. It is a big commitment because it takes a little over a year to complete but it is really worth the hours and dedication; it’s hard work but it pays off.
Cinta Aveda Institute is also only one of nine schools that offer this particular program which makes you more desired by employers and gives you an upper hand in the esthetic world.
I would highly recommend CIDESCO to someone who is considering Cinta Aveda’s esthetics program. I found it very rewarding. You might ask the Admissions Director about the program and see if you like what it has to offer you.
