We took a test today that targeted our different styles of learning. There were 4 types and it was to allow the instructors to better communicate and teach us in a way that we each could understand. Whether you are a visual, kinetic, auditory or logical learner you would be accommodated at Cinta Aveda.
It is very important to be taught effectively, otherwise what is the point? I found it very difficult in school to concentrate let alone have the desire to continue paying attention hour after hour. The comical thing is, I scored almost equal in all 4 styles. That translates to me that I can become fairly bored fairly fast, so for Cinta Aveda to keep me interested the entire time I was there, high-five to them!
Throughout the day and the entire program, some days would start off with theory and some with appointments. As for the theory portion, it was a mixture of hands on, group work, artwork, reading (can not escape that), projects, presentations (for extra credit, no pressure) and barely any homework. I have a 5 year old and a part time job and was able to handle any projects Cinta Aveda delegated my way.
