    • Cinta Aveda Institute, the leader in cosmetology and esthiology education in San Francisco, is currently seeking full-time Admissions Diretor who is self-motivated and has a desire to help make a difference in people’s lives. The Admissions Director is the first point of contact for prospective students who are looking to pursue their educational/career goals in the beauty industry. This person will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the entire enrollment process and managing a team.

      The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and the ability to manage goal-driven daily tasks efficiently and professionally. Must be able to meet and exceed enrollment goals. This position requires confidence, resilience, strong organizational and communications skills, exceptional persistence, a high level of commitment, and the ability to guide and motivate others.

      • Management of the Admissions team
      • Initiate contact with prospective students and set appointments
      • Conduct individual and/or group tours through the Campus
      • Enroll start-eligible students in appropriate programs to help ensure that the Campus budget/goals are met
      • Maintain timely follow-up with all leads according to established processes
      • Maintain database in an organized, error-free manner
      • The ability to communicate in a courteous, professional, and tactful manner is essential.
      • Proficiency on a PC computer, Internet, and email applications (CRM experience a plus)
      • Skills in marketing, supervision, teamwork, documentation, and business writing

      The Registrar will serve as custodian of student information and records for the Cinta Aveda Institute in San Francisco. The Registrar will report to the Assistant Director and work closely with other administrative offices.

      • Manage and distribute all student guidance forms.
      • Complete all required reporting aspects of compliance
      • Perform a close out function for clock in hours and similar activities
      • Be familiar with all aspects of SMART including management and reporting
      • Agencies requiring compliance are Department of Education, BPPE, NACCAS, State Board, Ipeds, Department of Rehab and Veterans association.
      • Reports and forms, then meet with students to go over their progress.
      • Maintain accurate records on all current and past students including hours, state board applications, externships and outcomes.
      • Two to five years of experience working in school setting
      • Secondary school diploma, bachelor/s degree preferred
      • Attention to detail and confidentiality are vital to this position
      • Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records
      • Ability to positively support the school s policies and practices and work collaboratively in a professional organization
      • Maintain confidentiality and security of information
      • Strong knowledge of standardized registrar practices, FERPA, etc.
